This year’s Kick-In has been different to any before it, there was no big tent, no storming of the Bastille and no large parties. However, one thing has remained the same year after year, dogroups, which are an important and much appreciated part of the Kick-In, not just for kiddos, but also for parents and associations. In a previous article the history of Electrical Engineering do-groups was explored after a dive into the Scintilla archives. A lot of information was dug up, but a lot remained hidden. Thanks to contributions by some do-group veterans, many improvements could be made to the orignal tree. With memories, some more vivid than others, and the help of photographic evidence, the family tree could be updated until the turn of the century. ...

In memory of my own fantastic but exhausting Kick-In, I enlisted early on. I wanted to relive the experience, next to continuing the (yet) short-lived legacy of HIGH POTENTIAL.
