The Dies Natalis of the 11th Lustrum

Each and every year, Scintilla celebrates their anniversary (AKA the Dies Natalis) on the 9th of September, or on any convenient Friday around that day. Usually accompanied by a tasty piece of cake, members come together in the old faithful Abscint to share a beer and celebrate the birthday of their study association. However, in 2020 the Dies Natalis was a little different, in more ways than one. EE-Sports: Chess Final

Hey all! I was lucky enough to be able to document these epic chess games as a member of EE-sports. I should preface this however by saying I know bar none about chess. Anyway, I just wanted more of the adrenaline rush I got from working with electrical systems. ...

Already during the Kick-In students get familiarized with this concept during the Taste cantus and (of course) our own Scintilla intro-cantus. But where does it come from? And why do some people like it so much, while others absolutely hate it? ...

You probably have heard of the committee and every now and then the activity pops up on the site again: the SHOCK hobby evening. It sounds epic, but what is it exactly? We organize the occasional hobby evening in the Westzaal, where all the fancy equipment of the Westzaal is available for you.
